Occupational Therapy

Many people question what an Occupational Therapist does.  The answer depends of the age of the client and what his or her needs are.  For children, their occupation is thriving, doing well in school, playing, and having good social interactions.  Adults on the other hand may need a different type of therapy due to an accident, illness, aging or progressive disability.  The goal is to improve one’s life, making it more productive, meaningful, and independent.
